FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
  • I know very little about the Internet. Can you still build a website for my business / organization ?

Yes. By asking questions and seeking the necessary information, the website can be created based on this data discovery and our knowledge of the web design process.

  • How much does a website cost?

The cost is dependent on the work involved to design and publish the completed website project. Each website is custom designed and constructed; not a template that is used over and over again. A price quote will be provided when the total scope of the project is known.

  • How long will it take for the website to be created?

The time frame needed will vary. A simple website with a minimum number of images, some programming, and a few pages will need less time than a more complex website having audio, forms, javascript functions, etc. with many pages. We will do our best to work with the customer to provide an accurate time estimate needed for the website.

  • Are there any up front cost required?

Yes, just a small deposit is needed to get started. An estimate of the cost to design and publish the website based on factors discussed with the client (you) will be provided once the scope of work is understood and an agreement is reached to create your website.

However, if a registered domain name is needed for your website, a yearly cost is involved. And, if an ISP is needed to host your website, there is a yearly cost with that. We can pass those costs to you when your website is ready to be launched (put online). At that time, we will expect to be paid for our services.

  • What if there are changes wanted after the website project has begun ?

Depending on the changes, the time frame and the work already started on the project, it may be possible to incorporate minor changes at little to no additional cost. However, if major changes are required, a revised agreement would need to be discussed before any work could resume.

  • Who will host the website?

A list of recommended Internet Service Providers (ISPs) will be discussed and one will be chosen that best suits the customer's business needs. If the customer desires, we would then upload the website to the ISP's computers and make a final test to ensure that all links and functions are working properly.

  • Who will maintain the website after it's been uploaded to the ISP?

The customer may choose to maintain the website or enter a maintenance agreement with us to perform updates on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis.

  • Who owns the website ?

The customer owns the website. We are the designers/ developers of the website. All materials needed to create the website will be returned to the customer at the conclusion of the web design process.
